ILJIN Electronics India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Amber Enterprises India Limited, has entered into a 50-50 joint venture agreement with Noise in India, a brand founded by Amit Khatri and Gaurav Khatri in 2014 under NEXXBASE MARKETING PRIVATE LIMITED. Noise began selling smartwatches and wireless earbuds in 2018. Amber Enterprises, a leading company in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry in India, mentioned in an exchange filing that ILJIN and Noise will collaborate to manufacture, assemble, design, and deal in wearables and other smart electronics products.

Amit Khatri, co-founder of Noise, emphasized that the partnership with ILJIN will leverage Noise’s expertise to promote local manufacturing, expand the fuel category, and encourage ecosystem-wide growth.
As of September 20, Amber Enterprises India’s shares were trading at Rs 2975 around 1 pm, having closed at Rs 2972 on NSE Nifty on September 18.
