Anupamaa written update: The latest episode of Anupamaa, scheduled to air on October 20, 2024, begins with Prem assuring Anupama that he will help find her daughter. Anupama smiles and invites Prem to the ghat for veneration. On the other hand, while Rahi (Aadya) plans to celebrate Dusshera, the kids insist on celebrating Rahi’s birthday. Initially adamant about not celebrating her birthday, Rahi gives in to the kids’ demands. In a delighted mood, the tension immediately drops after the kids notice the small portion of food on their plate. Rahi picks up on this and announces that God will make sure that the orphanage kids will get good food.
Just then, elsewhere, Anupaam discusses wanting to feed the needy on the occasion of Aadya’s birthday. After overhearing Anupama, Vyas asks if Anupama will feed the kids of his orphanage. Anupama gladly agrees. Switching back to Rahi, they receive the information that the orphanage will be getting good food as a donation and the kids jump with joy.

Without knowing who the generous woman is, Rahi hopes that all their wishes come true. Knowing about Rahi’s connection with Ahmedabad, Vyas hides the fact that Anupama is from her hometown.
Back at Aasha Bhawan, Pakhi worries about Ishani while Toshu spends time with Pari. Dolly witnesses Toshu spending quality time with his daughter and feels jealous. She curses Anupama and hopes that she never gets to reunite with Aadya. On the other hand, Pakhi warns Mahi to not trust Anupama. She reminds her that Anupama will be back to being biased towards Aadya once again.

Meanwhile, Prem crosses paths with Rahi and the kids. He offers to give them a lift. Rahi initially refuses but agrees to take a favour as the kids complain about being tired. Prem goes a step further and gifts a bunch of sweets to them. When Rahi tastes the sweet, she is immediately reminded of Anupama’s delectable cooking. She snaps back to reality and asks Prem to never meet her again. But, Prem replies that if God intends it, they will meet again.
The episode ends with Rahi spotting her younger self’s face in a rangoli. She stands stunned to see Anupama so close to her after years. However, Anupama seems to not recognise Rahi at a glance.
