During his visit to Mizoram to campaign for party candidates in the upcoming Assembly Elections, Gandhi raised concerns about the BJP’s alleged utilization of Mizoram’s key political players, the Mizo National Front and the Zoram People’s Movement, to gain a foothold in the Christian-majority state.

He pledged that if Congress comes to power in Mizoram, it would introduce a monthly pension of Rs 2,000 for the elderly, provide gas cylinders for Rs 750, and support entrepreneurs.
