YouTube creators can be delighted to know that the video-streaming platform is bringing a new feature that will make it more interactive with the audience. YouTube has announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that YouTube Shorts creators will be able to add a poll sticker soon directly into your Shorts. It will allow viewers to just tap on the vote while enjoying the Shorts. “Use poll stickers to connect with your community & gather insights in real-time,” YouTube teams mentioned.
If you are familiar with the Instagram Reels features, then know it is a similar kind of feature which offers an option to add a Quiz sticker to it before publishing. It also allows viewers to vote for their preferred option. Similarly, YouTube Shorts creators will be able to add Poll Stickers soon. How To Add Polls On YouTube Shorts
- To add the Polls Sticker to your YouTube Shorts, follow these simple steps:
- Open your YouTube app and tap on the + icon at the bottom
- Click on “Create A Short” and continue recording your Short. If you want to add a pre-recorded video, tap on the image icon at the left-bottom side of the video.
- Select the video that you want to upload.
- Now, on the right-hand side, you will find a sticker symbol option. Click on it and continue while tapping “Create a Poll.”
- Simply add your question and two possible options to let the viewers choose from.
- You can also change the colour of the Poll Sticker.
- Make sure to adjust the placement of the Poll Sticker while simply drag and drop before publishing it.
- Once done, simply tap upload.
Still, you will need to wait for the official roll-out of the feature, which is expected by the next week.
Apart from this, YouTube also rolled out a bunch of other exciting features for the Shorts a couple of months ago which include Collab, new effects and stickers, an option to Go Live, transform horizontal videos into shorts and a lot more.
