Mussoorie: A multi-tasking staff (MTS) member at the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) tragically committed suicide by hanging himself. The most shocking aspect of this incident was that the young man was dressed in feminine attire, including make-up and a saree.
The reasons behind this drastic step are still under investigation. Inspector Mussoorie Arvind Chaudhary mentioned that the young man appeared mentally disturbed, which might be linked to his choice of attire. The investigation will also explore other potential reasons and the psychological aspects behind the incident.
The deceased was never seen wearing woman attire
The deceased has been identified as Anukul Rawat, resident of village Uflda, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal, age 22 years. He was posted as multi-tasking staff in the academy and hanged himself at his official residence. After his suicide, the co-staffers of Anukul are in the state of shock at his behaviour because they have never seen him wearing feminine clothes and makeup before. While committing suicide, he wore a white and pink Saari and a necklace like a woman.
Police are investigating the matter
On receiving the information of suicide, police force from Mussoorie police station immediately reached the spot and found that the deceased Anukul Rawat had hanged himself in his government residence and had locked the door from inside. Mussoorie police have started investigating the reasons behind the suicide of the deceased. Anukul’s mobile details are also being investigated to identify the people in his contact before his death. According to the LBSNAA staff, he was a recluse and didn’t much like to talk to others. The relatives of the deceased have been informed.
