Kurukshetra: Ahead of the counting of votes polled in the Haryana Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday expressed confidence that BJP will score a hattrick in the state, citing the works done by the government in the last 10 years and that they will continue to serve the people.
Saini, who contested the election from the Ladwa seat in the Kurukshetra district, expressed confidence that the BJP’s development efforts over the past 10 years will secure another victory for the party. However, the exit polls have predicted a Congress win in both Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, these predictions are not always accurate.
The counting of votes across the 90 assembly seats in Haryana began at 8 am at 93 centres across these constituents in 22 districts of Haryana, according to the Election Commission.
Ahead of the counting, Saini visited a community Dharamshala in his constituency where he spoke to reporters about the election results.
We served the people of Haryana with utmost honesty in the past 10 years. On that basis, I can say the BJP will form the government again in the state and will continue to carry out development works and serve the people,” he said on Tuesday morning.
Saini also hit out at the Congress, which is eyeing a return to Haryana after 10 years, claiming the party only works to come to power and is involved in corruption.
