New Delhi: Premier League Sunday kicks off with a clash between two teams that are at the opposite ends of the table. Joint-bottom Wolves host defending champions Manchester City, who will go top with a win at the Molineux. Manchester City currently occupy the second spot on the league table, sitting just a point behind leaders Liverpool, and will be looking to make the most out of their trip to the West Midlands.
Wolves are in atrocious form and have had a horrible start to their season. Tonight’s hosts are winless in their first seven games and have only one point to show for their efforts. They’ve conceded the most number of goals in the league and have the joint worst goal-difference, which could get even worse if they are to lose against City. The pressure is on for manager Gary O’Neil and a defeat today could spell the end for the Englishman.
Manchester City sit comfortably near the top and head into the back confident of picking up a win and regaining their top spot. Wolves have often caused Pep’s side troubles in previous season but the Cityzens should have no problems disposing off this Wolves side. The visitors are yet to lose a game this season and it looks like it tonight won’t change that, even factoring in City’s recent slump in play.
