New Delhi: Maharashtra Ports and Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane on Monday sounded a stern warning to a particular community, stating that “Love jihad, Land Jihad, and cow slaughter” will not be tolerated. He emphasised that the state has a Hindutva-oriented government and discussed the possibility of introducing a strict law against religious conversions.
A grand religious assembly was organised in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, where Rane was the chief guest. During his address, Rane strongly criticised a particular community. He mentioned that the state has a Hindutva-based government, and if issues like Love Jihad, Land Jihad, and harming cows are not stopped in time, they would go after each one of them and put them behind bars.
The religious gathering was held at Gandhi Chowk after a massive bike rally in Chandrapur city as the streets reverberated with chants of “Jai Shri Ram”.
‘Welfare of Hindus will always come first’
“There is a government following Hindutva ideas in the state, and if in time, they (the particular community) do not stop Love Jihad, Land Jihad and cow slaughter, then we will find each one and send them inside,” he said. Rane added, “We are in the government and if these people sporting beard do not stop this Love Jihad, Land Jihad and the drama against Hindu society in time, then even those sitting in Pakistan will not be able to recognise you, I guarantee. Trapping girls of Hindu religion, converting them, killing them, all these dramas will not work anymore. We will bring the strictest law against conversion in the state, we will not let these green snakes work, they had a lot of fun during the tenure of Maha Vikas Aghadi. Everyone in the government was their father, during Maha Vikas Aghadi they used to raise slogans of Pakistan Zindabad but now the fun will not work.”
“In our Hindu Rashtra, the welfare of Hindus will always come first,” he pointed out. “These Jihadis who create a drama, these people will have to understand that there is a Hindu government in the state. If love jihad is done, then the government will do whatever it wants.” “Love whatever you want, but if you trick Hindu women and sisters in the name of love, then it won’t be good for you.”
