Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the ongoing series of Regional Industry Conclaves is a crucial step towards the state’s development. With the support of the participating industrialists and investors, we will harness the available resources to shape the state into a diamond. Recognizing the vast development potential across all sectors in Madhya Pradesh, our commitment and resolution are to ensure employment for every individual through the establishment of new industries. Dr. Yadav highlighted the efficiency of the government, noting that in one meeting, industrialists are engaged, and by the next, the foundation stone for their units is laid. He made these remarks while addressing the “Vibrant Vindhya” Regional Industry Conclave in Rewa on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that for the development of Madhya Pradesh, we are all prepared to set aside our egos and work with a spirit of teamwork. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that inland container depots will be constructed in Katni and Singrauli to promote industries and boost exports in the Rewa division. Additionally, multi-modal logistics parks will be developed in the region. New MSME industrial zones will be established in Mauganj and Maihar and a new water supply scheme costing Rs 84 lakh will be implemented in the Baidhan industrial area. International-level tourism facilities will be developed at Sanjay-Dubri National Park and Tiger Reserve, offering top-tier amenities. Innovations will also be introduced to promote health tourism, and activities in the fields of medicine and education will be expanded, creating employment opportunities and making the region self-reliant in healthcare and education. Special provisions will be made to encourage investment in hotels, resorts, and other tourism projects in the Vindhya region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these announcements while addressing the Rewa Regional Industry Conclave, which he inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Virtually Performed Bhoomi Pujan of Rewa IT Park
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav virtually performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the IT Park in Rewa, which is set to be constructed at a cost of Rs 66.71 crore. Additionally, he also virtually inaugurated the Bhoomi Pujan for a new industrial area to be developed in Patera district, Mau, and Naya village, with an investment of Rs 29 crore to promote small and medium industries. The Bhoomi Pujan for the Churhat electric sub-station near Rewa was also conducted during the event.
Quarterly news letter “Offbeat Madhya Pradesh” released
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav released the quarterly newsletter of state tourism, “Offbeat Madhya Pradesh.” During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Madhya Pradesh Tourism and APS University for collaboration on training and curriculum development in tourism management and hospitality. Additionally, another MoU was exchanged between the Municipal Corporation of Rewa and MPIDC for the provision of industrial water supply.
Chief Minister engages in a virtual dialogue with entrepreneurs
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also had a virtual dialogue with industrialists and investors setting up industrial units in the state. Among those with whom he spoke were Smt. Shweta Shah of Maa Tulja Industries that is starting production of plastic products in Hatod district, Indore, Shri Saurabh Sanil of Cornish Power Zone Pvt. Ltd., dedicated to transformer manufacturing in Pithampur district, Dhar and Shri Sanjay Harkawat engaged in electrical vehicle manufacturing under Pinnacle Mobility Pvt. Ltd. In a virtual conversation with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Shri Narendra Sen, who established a data center worth Rs 500 crore, informed that right from acquiring land to getting permissions, all the formalities were completed in just 7 days. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the world-famous MDH Group for setting up a spice unit at Vikrampuri in Ujjain for Rs 324 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also had a virtual conversation with the entrepreneurs who started industrial activities in Sidguwa Sagar.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla thanks the CM for the historic RIC of Rewa
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla congratulated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for conceptualizing the Regional Conclave and giving it a concrete shape. He said that this would be important and historic for the development of the Vindhya region. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, investment is being encouraged in every sector of the state through the Regional Industry Conclave. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has approved Rs 4 thousand crore for irrigation facilities in 9 lakh acres of land in the Vindhya region. Soon the land of the entire area will be irrigated. The people of Vindhya will always be grateful to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for this gift. He said that the Bansagar Project, Mukundpur White Tiger Safari, Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Park, and Rewa Airport were inaugurated a few days ago in Rewa. Regional Industry Conclave is the need of the hour today. Rewa has robust infrastructure, land bank, water, electricity, while the state has single window clearance, ease of doing business and a positive environment for industrial institutions. He said that Vindhya is an attractive destination for agricultural products and food processing industry.

Patanjali Group General Manager Acharya Balkrishna said that Madhya Pradesh is a land of possibilities. Here, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has a vision for the development of Madhya Pradesh. The environment and arrangements here are favorable for industrialists from across the country who want to set up industries or work in various fields in Madhya Pradesh. Industrialists willing to invest should come here. He said that Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful and safe place for those who can contribute towards taking the country forward. For Patanjali, we will mainly work here for food processing, oil processing and pharma training. We will plan and work on a large scale in the fields of tourism and solar. Acharya Balkrishna said that after coming to Rewa Industry Conclave, I got to see a new tradition here in which not only are people excited at the local level but they are also realizing the possibilities. Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain said that the Regional Industry Conclave is being organized at the divisional level to invite investment in the state, increase GDP, and increase local employment opportunities. Its objective is to promote integrated development of the state and micro, small and medium enterprises. Referring to the characteristics of the Rewa division, he said that Singrauli district is called the energy capital of the country. 10 percent of the cement production in the country is recorded in the Satna district. There is adequate availability of land, electricity, and water for industries in the state. Along with surplus electricity production, water has also been reserved for industry. Apart from this, providing necessary permissions for industries under Ease of Doing Business in a short time has made the path of investment and establishment of industries in the state easier. As far as good governance in the state is concerned, Public Service Guarantee Act has been implemented, which has been adopted by 20 states.
In a presentation, Additional Chief Secretary Energy and New and Renewable Energy Shri Manu Srivastava gave information about investment opportunities in the field of energy and new and renewable energy in the state. He said that new and renewable energy has currently emerged as a new area of investment. It has increased 14 times in the last 12 years. The production of new and renewable energy in the state has increased from 500 MW to 7500 MW. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Srivastava gave information about successful solar projects established in the state and explained the features of investment policies. He also invited investors and industrialists to invest by briefing on the upcoming solar and wind projects and investment opportunities in the districts of Neemuch, Morena, Dhar, Ashoknagar etc.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey gave a presentation on opportunities in the IT/ITES and ESDM sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla welcomed investors to Madhya Pradesh, the cleanest, greenest and safest heartland of Incredible India. He said that the tourist destinations of the state are climbing new heights of popularity in the country and abroad. In the year 2023, a record 11.21 crore tourists visited the tourist destinations of the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the country. With 12 national parks, 7 tiger reserves and 24 wildlife sanctuaries, Madhya Pradesh is also a Tiger, Leopard and Cheetah State. Giving information about Tourism Investment Policy 2019 for investment in tourism sector, tourism projects on PPP mode, heritage property, water tourism licensing policy and features of film tourism policy such as investors facilitation cell, single window, transparent e-tendering process, capital subsidy up to 30%, 90 years lease and 1% lease rent, incentives, investors were invited to invest in 14 types of tourism projects.
MD of Dalmia Cement Shri Puneet Dalmia said that a cement plant will be set up in Madhya Pradesh with an investment of three thousand crore rupees. This will be the world’s first 100% renewable energy plant. Shri Puneet Dalmia said that his institute is running 15 training centres across the country. More than 50 thousand people have been trained by providing skill training in them. A similar training centre will be set up in Madhya Pradesh as well. Impressed by the tourism of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Dalmia also expressed his desire to invest in museums and sound and light shows. Shri Dalmia praised the organisation of Regional Industry Conclave to promote balanced and integrated development in Madhya Pradesh. He also praised the presentation of investment opportunities in Hindi by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and all administrative officers to promote Hindi language.
Principal Secretary Minerals Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla gave detailed information about the mineral wealth available in the state and the industries operating there. Shri Shukla gave a detailed presentation on the possibilities of mineral based industries in Madhya Pradesh. He said that industries easily get permissions from all departments. He said that industrialists which are not working in mining can set up plants here, manganese, copper, graphite, rock phosphate, all these are available in abundance. He said that stone is now a very important component, enterprises can be set up here. Shri Shukla said granite is being sent from here to China, the region is rich in this. He said that Madhya Pradesh is number one in the country in the mineral sector. He said there are immense possibilities of transportation here, entrepreneurs should come forward.
Principal Secretary, Industries Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is full of natural resources. The state is a power surplus state. He said that there are 4 big industrial corridors in the state, which will benefit the Rewa region. Principal Secretary, Industries Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh said that Madhya Pradesh has a better road network. There are also 5 airports, now the airport has started in Rewa as well as airstrips in the districts. He said that better facilities are being provided to investors.
Principal Secretary Shri Singh said that the industrial policy of Madhya Pradesh is excellent. He said that in some sectors the industrial policy is the best in the country. There is zero percent man days loss in Madhya Pradesh, there is a safe working environment for women here. 4 industrial conclaves have been held in the state, the 5th conclave is being held in Rewa today.
Principal Secretary, Industries Shri Raghvendra Singh said that the state is a big grain producing state, it is at par with Punjab and Haryana, Madhya Pradesh has received 7 Krishi Karman Awards. The state is rich in natural resources and is famous for cleanliness.
Industrialists were overwhelmed by the natural wealth and investment opportunities of Vindhya
Puneet Dalmia, General Manager of Dalmia Group said that the Industry Conclave has been organised in a very grand manner in Rewa. This will create huge opportunities for industrial investment in Vindhya. All the industrialists are very impressed with the picture of Madhya Pradesh presented by the senior officials of the state in the conclave. Dalmia Industries is going to set up a cement plant with a production capacity of four lakh tonnes in Vindhya. An investment of three thousand crore rupees will be made in this. This will be the first cement plant of the state to run on renewable energy. Our group will also invest in the development of tourism in Vindhya.
A large number of officers and employees working in our group are residents of Madhya Pradesh. Vindhya is a land of art, culture and refinement. The whole of Madhya Pradesh is an island of peace. Patanjali has continuously promoted indigenous products and new technology. Patanjali is making many food products by giving new life to Ruchi Soya Plant of Madhya Pradesh. We are supporting farmers to promote crop diversification in Madhya Pradesh. In many districts of Madhya Pradesh, we are supporting farmers by giving them free training for cultivation of mustard, other oilseeds and medicinal plants. We are providing them benefits by buying organic farming produce directly from farmers. Patanjali is setting up industry and Ayurvedic centre in Ujjain. We will also make big investments in the field of solar energy and IT.
Reliance Industries President Shri HK Tripathi said that our industry is continuously investing with the goal of making a sustainable contribution to public welfare and the country’s development. Work is going on in many areas including textile industry, mobile sector, energy sector. Methane gas is being exploited in Shahdol and used as energy. We will soon set up a plant to generate electricity from paddy straw, banana residue and other agricultural residues in the Vindhya region. We will help in environmental protection and increasing farmers’ income by producing organic fertilizer.
Rama Group CMD Shri Naresh Goyal said that we have been running wood-based industries in Satna district since 1998. Soon two new wood-based units will be set up in Vindhya. We are going to invest about 100 crores. Along with this, work is also being done on a plan to set up an MDF unit worth 400 crores. At present, plywood unit has been set up in Uttarakhand and two units of steel iron have also been set up in Chhattisgarh. Wood based industry is not based on forests. It has now become based on agro based wood.
Bhimsi Kachot of Adani Group said that our group has already made big investments in the cement and energy sector in Madhya Pradesh. Two of our projects are being prepared on PPP mode. We will also increase investment in the energy sector. There are very positive policies to encourage investment in Madhya Pradesh.
