New Delhi: Multiple shots were fired at Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s home in Victoria Island, Canada in September. The incident took place on September 2. In the latest development, police have now arrested one man and the second suspect has reportedly flown out of Canada. Not only, gunshots were fired but two vehicles were also set ablaze.

The gunshot-firing incident took place just a week after AP Dhillon released the music video, ‘Old Money’, featuring superstar Salman Khan. His connection with Bollywood and especially, Salman Khan, has made the Punjabi singer a target of the Bishnoi gang. Gangster Rohit Godara while claiming responsibility for the shooting threatened Dhillon to “stay within his limits or he would meet a dog’s death”.
Just a few days back, Baba Siddique was shot dead in Bandra and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. Since then, security around Salman has been tightened. Apart from receiving multiple death threats, gunshots were even fired at his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments.
The notorious gang and its members are now being traced and detained for their alleged connection with Baba Siddique and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s death.
AP Dhillon house firing CCTV footage
CCTV footage from the incident outside AP Dhillon’s home in Canada shows several rounds of gunshots outside the singer’s house. The video also shows two vehicles being set on fire outside his home in Vancouver.
Meanwhile, authorities have arrested 25-year-old Abjeet Kingra in Ontario and has been charged with Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson. They are currently searching for 23-year-old Vikram Sharma, who is believed to be in India, and is wanted for his involvement in the incident.
