New Delhi: The much-awaited podcast between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US-based podcaster and AI researcher Lex Fridman was released on Sunday. During their interaction, both talked about a number of issues, which include India’s quest for peace, and relations with Pakistan among others.
Speaking at the program, the Prime Minister noted that whenever India talks of peace, the world listens to it as this is the land of Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi. He added that India neither wants any kind of strife with Mother Nature nor between any countries across the world.
‘India is a land of Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi’
“Whenever we talk of peace, the world listens to us. Because this is the land of Gautam Biddha and Mahatma Gandhi. We are a country that supports harmony. We neither want any strife with nature nor we want strife between nations. And wherever we can act as peacemakers, we have gladly embraced that responsibility,” the Prime Minister said.
Pointing out that it was not Modi, who was important, but the 1.4 billion people of the country, he added, “My strength is not Modi, but 1.4 billion people of the country. Whenever I shake hands with world leaders, it’s not Modi who shakes hands but the people of India. Wherever I go, I carry with me thousands of years of timeless culture and heritage. I carry with me the essence of thousands of years of Vedic tradition, the timeless teachings of Swami Vivekananda.”
