New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has defended taking government facilities by himself as well as AAP leaders while running the Delhi government.
Arvind Kejriwal during a special interview with TV9 Network said, “Official residence is meant to do official work. There is a camp office where cabinet meetings are held, where meetings with officials are held. The residence is used to meet people. What is the problem if we are taking the residence for efficient working.”

AAP chief in exclusive interview
The former Delhi CM made the statement during an exclusive interview on TV9 Network. Arvind Kejriwal was interviewed by the TV9 Bharatvarsh along with four other AAP leaders including Delhi CM Atishi, Raghav Chadha and Manish Sisodia.
When asked about what he feels about former AAP leader like Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav and other, Kejriwal said they all are his friends and the party’s doors are open for them.
‘Revers BR Ambedkar more’
On another question about who he revers more among Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar, Kejriwal said that he respects both the figures but revers BR Ambedkar the most due to his inspiring struggle.
“If BR Ambedkar was not there, if there was no struggle in his life, then many things in our Constitution may not have been there,” added Arvind Kejriwal.
During the interview, the AAP national convenor regret the neglect of the middle class in the country and highlighted the AAP government’s achievements in Delhi including improvement in infrastructure and other sector sectors like education and healthcare.

BJP has been launching continuous attacks against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal over alleged extravagant renovation at Delhi CM’s bungalow when he was the chief minister. The said official residence is located at 6 Flag Staff Road.
