New Delhi: India’s largest news network, TV9, is set to host the third edition of What India Thinks Today Global Summit 2025 (WITT). An important platform for intellectual discussions, the two-day event will be held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on March 28-29.
Several eminent personalities from India and across the world, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will grace this two-day intellectual gathering. PM Modi was also part of last year’s WITT, where he shared his views. Spiritual leader Dhirendra Shastri and RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar will also share their thoughts.
Discussions at the summit
The summit will cover a diverse range of topics, focusing not only on national and global politics but also on areas such as business, economy, entertainment, health, culture, and sports. The National Agenda sessions will be held in Auditorium 1 of Bharat Mandapam, while discussions on business and economy will take place in the Summit Room under the News Nine Global Summit.
The National Agenda segment will consist of five sessions in the pre-lunch session and eight sessions in the post-lunch session. Meanwhile, the News Nine Global Summit Business & Economy platform will host ten sessions featuring global dignitaries sharing their insights.
Union ministers, CMs to take part
In all 11 Union ministers and five chief ministers will take part in the two-day summit. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Rural Development, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Minister of Health & Family Welfare Anupriya Patel will be the part of the summit.
Along with the Union ministers, five sitting chief ministers including Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will take part in the discussions.
Opposition leaders in attendance
The summit will also bring together opposition leaders including Congress national president and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge. He will be joined by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, and Congress MP KC Venugopal. Their discussions will centre around the Union government’s policies and the current state of the nation.

As global speakers, the event will feature former UNGA president Abdulla Shahid, Israeli ambassador to India Reuven Azar, and UN Resident Coordinator for India Shombi Sharp.
From the world of business Vedanta’s founder and CEO Anil Agarwal, chief economic advisor to the Government of India V Anantha Nageswaran, NASSCOM president Rajesh Nambiar, MD of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Nilesh Shah, and Medanta’s MD and Chairman Dr Naresh Trehan will grace the occasion. They will share their insights on the country’s economic growth trajectory.
Spiritual leaders and celebrities
Apart from political and business leaders, RSS’s Sunil Ambekar will also grace the stage, while religious guru Dhirendra Shastri will share his thoughts on spirituality and religion.
From the entertainment industry, actors Amit Sadh and Jim Sarbh will be part of the summit.
