New Delhi: West Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday.

“Governor of West Bengal Dr CV Ananda Bose called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the President’s office said in a post on X and shared a picture of the meeting.
After meeting the President, Bose met vice-president Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Doctors’ protest continues
The meetings came amid junior doctors’ protest in West Bengal after a post graduate trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College on August 9.
The protests have crippled the healthcare services at government hospitals in the state.
