Weather Forecast: Cloudy Skies Expected in Delhi, Countrywide Weather Updates for Sunday

The weather forecast for Sunday, July 30, indicates pleasant conditions with cloudy skies in Delhi. Some areas might experience light rain or drizzle. Over the following days, there are chances of light rain between Wednesday and Friday next week in the capital.

Sunday Weather Forecast in Delhi: Cloudy Skies and Possible Light Rain

Heavy rains continue to affect several parts of India, particularly along the west coast. The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy to very heavy rain in the Middle East, North East, and Eastern regions over the next four to five days. However, there may be a reduction in rainfall in North West India between July 31 and August 1, followed by possible increased rain on August 2 and 3.

Rainfall Forecast: Reduction in Rainfall for North West India

The India Meteorological Department has also provided specific warnings for different regions. On August 2, light to moderate rain with heavy downpours is expected in Haryana, East Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. Western Uttar Pradesh will experience similar weather on August 1 and 2, Uttarakhand till August 2, and eastern Uttar Pradesh until July 31. Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may witness light to moderate rains between July 29-31. Vidarbha region can expect heavy rains on August 2, while Konkan, Goa, and Maharashtra may experience heavy rain on August 1. Telangana could face heavy rain on August 2.

South India is also bracing for rainfall. Coastal Karnataka may see light to moderate rain with heavy falls in isolated areas on August 2. Telangana is likely to experience similar weather on August 1 and 2, while South Interior Karnataka may see such conditions on August 2. Additionally, on July 30, West Bengal and Sikkim may have light to moderate rains. Jharkhand can expect similar weather on August 1, and Bihar between July 31 and August 2.
