New Delhi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has reacted on the recently concluded elections in Jammu and Kashmir saying they were like a festival of democracy to the people of the state.
Speaking after National Conference leader Omar Abdullah took oath as Chief Minister of J&K, Union Minister Joshi said, “Elections in J&K were a festival of democracy especially for the public of Kashmir. Though BJP has emerged as the principal opposition party and we respect the mandate of the people of J&K. Congress party was nowhere in these elections and they just won only six seats.”

Talking about the victory in Haryana, the Union Minister said, “BJP has formed the government in the state consecutively for the third time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
Karnataka CM beneficiary of MUDA scam: Joshi
“Who was the beneficiary in MUDA scam? The beneficiary was the Chief Minister. Not only in the MUDA scam, he is also involved in the Valmiki board scam. Even after the observations of the Karnataka High Court, the Congress party is not able to ask him to resign from Chief Minister’s post,” the Minister said while reacting on the on MUDA chairman Mari Gowda’s resignation in Karnataka.
The Union Minister also slammed senior Congress leadership alleging, “The high command of the Congress is also involved in all the scams and they are out on bail on corruption. BJP will fight for the resignation of Karnataka CM,”
