New Delhi: At a special banquet hosted in honour of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday night, an Indonesian delegation left everyone in awe when they performed the Bollywood hit song “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”
The iconic song, originally from 1998 film starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was sung by the delegation, which included senior ministers from Indonesia.

Banquet organised for Indonesia President
The performance won over the entire gathering, creating a light-hearted and memorable atmosphere. Attendees at the event were visibly moved by the gesture and a video of the performance went viral on social media.
The banquet was organized to celebrate President Subianto’s first state visit to India, as he arrived at the invitation of President Droupadi Murmu to be the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations.

The Indonesian delegation’s musical tribute was a heartwarming moment of cultural exchange. President Subianto, along with his delegation, was warmly welcomed by Indian officials.
On the following day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the gathering at Hyderabad House in Delhi, welcoming President Subianto and emphasizing the importance of this visit.
PM Modi said, “As we celebrate 75 years of the Republic, Indonesia has become a part of this historic occasion.” This visit highlights the growing partnership between India and Indonesia, and it opens the door for increased cooperation in various fields.
