Bijnor: In a surprising and unusual incident, a large crocodile was seen roaming on the streets of Nangal Soti village in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district. The unexpected visitor created a sense of panic and excitement among the villagers, as many rushed out of their homes to see the reptile in person.

The crocodile was first noticed early in the morning by local residents, who immediately informed the forest department. However, it took the officials several hours to reach the village. In the meantime, the crocodile wandered freely through the streets, causing a mix of fear and curiosity among the onlookers.

Street dogs chased crocodile

A video of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the crocodile moving along the village streets. In the video, some residents can be seen fleeing in fear, while others took the opportunity to record the unusual sight on their smartphones.

A street dog even chased the reptile, and in a shocking moment, one man was seen kicking the crocodile, seemingly trying to provoke it.

No one was hurt during the incident. When the forest department team finally arrived, they were able to safely capture the crocodile and remove it from the village.

The video has sparked widespread discussion online. Many social media users expressed their outrage at the man who kicked the crocodile, calling his actions reckless and inhumane. Some users voiced their concern for the animal’s well-being, while others emphasised the need to protect both humans and wildlife from such dangerous encounters in the future.

One user commented, “I hope the guy who kicked the crocodile goes for a swim one day and becomes its meal. Poor reptile. It needs rescuing from the most dangerous animals on earth: humans.”

Another user wrote, “The real wild animals are the people who are kicking the crocodile. They should be punished for endangering wildlife.”
