Ghar Ke Kalesh shared the viral video on X with the caption, “Clean shave ke liye ladkiyon ne kiya kalesh.” In the clip, a group of women were seen marching through a street with banners. The banners demanded men to get rid of their beards and advocated for clean-shaven boyfriends. While the women enthusiastically repeated their slogan in unison, a couple of school girls were seen amused by the scene and capturing it on camera.

Netizens expressed their thoughts in the comments section. Many believed it was just a gimmick for attention and did not take the protest seriously. One individual wrote, “This seems like a desperate attempt for attention—what happened to genuine activism?” Others wondered why they couldn’t just speak to their boyfriends in private instead of holding a rally. “Only the ones without real bfs need to do this. Ones with bfs can simply ask them,” said another man.
Others thought the rally might have been organised as part of a promotional event. However, they said people should be allowed to exercise their preferences and should not be forced to look or groom themselves in any particular way. “This sends a confusing message to young boys about grooming. It’s all about choice!” opined one netizen.
