Staying vigilant can save you from paying extra
The video features a police officer who points out a small red light blinking at the far right of the meter, explaining that only one red light should be visible after the fare amount has been displayed. The officer also demonstrates how pressing a button can cause the meter to run significantly faster than usual, highlighting the importance of vigilance.
“Stay vigilant, identify faulty meters, and report them,” the Mumbai Police urged, emphasising the need for public awareness and action to combat fare discrepancies.
