Vegetable prices in Lucknow have witnessed a mixed trend, with seasonal vegetables experiencing a significant drop, bringing great relief to consumers. The arrival of seasonal vegetables in the Dubagga vegetable market has led to lower prices. Green chillies, in particular, have become very affordable due to increased availability.

Retail green vegetables are currently being sold at Rs 60 per kg in Lucknow, compared to their expensive prices just a few days ago. Ginger is priced at Rs 250 per kg, while cauliflower is available for Rs 25 each. Tomatoes have come down to Rs 100 per kg from Rs 180 per kg.
Green Chillies Become Affordable
Although some vegetables like ginger, coriander, cucumber, capsicum, cabbage, and brinjal are still expensive, the overall price trend shows a downward trajectory, and further reductions are expected.
