The BPSC PT exam is scheduled for December 13. In the videos, police can be seen using force on the agitating candidates to restore law and order. The protest turned ugly as they blocked the busy road, which led to traffic bottlenecks. Several students were injured in the melee.
Bihar DSP Anu Kumari reportedly said that the protest was illegal as they didn’t seek any permission. The police has said they are demanding the names of the delegation of five people who will keep their demands forward. The agitating students said that they were demanding to hold the prelims exam the same way it was conducted in the past and wanted the normalisation of the exam.
During the protest, the traffic was disrupted as the demonstrators ran helter-skelter. As the cops used batons recklessly, the demonstrators tried to protect themselves. Some were left severely injured in the chaos.
