Heli-services for tourists to reach Adi Kailash, OM Parvat and Timmarsain Mahadeo
The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board is also expanding Heli services in the border areas to promote tourism. Tourists face difficulties to reach famous religious tourist spots like Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, Timmarsain Mahadeo and other such places due to inaccessible roads. Keeping in mind all these problems, the Uttarakhand government has decided to provide Heli services to tourists who are eager to visit such places. The helipads, available in the jurisdiction of ITBP, will be used for this purpose.
Heli services will be used to help villagers in case of medical emergency
Apart from this, the Heli services will be also useful for the villagers living in the vibrant villages. As per the plan, the Heli services will be used to provide medicines to such villagers in case of medical emergencies, besides taking them to higher centres for medical treatment.
