The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has constructed a permanent culvert at Telgad in Harshil to ensure smooth movement. Meanwhile, the District Hotel Association has started preparing to introduce PM Modi to the mountain culture, including showcasing Garh Bhoj, a traditional feast. District Magistrate (DM) Mehrban Singh Bisht visited Harshil on Sunday to inspect the preparations. He instructed officials to complete all arrangements on time, emphasizing the importance of quality and security. The DM also discussed security arrangements with Superintendent of Police Sarita Dobhal.
PM likely to visit Harshil and Mukhba in the last week of this month
The Prime Minister is likely to visit Mukhba, the winter residence of Ganga ji, and the vibrant village of Harshil later this month. In anticipation of his visit, various projects are underway in the Mukhba-Harsil area. These include the construction of a road to Bagori helipad and the maintenance of the road to UKADA helipad. An official from Uttarkashi administration, said, “Official date is not yet confirmed but PM’s visit is likely in the end of this month. Preparations are going on in full swing.”
