Dehradun: In a significant event, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with his family, reached Prayagraj to participate in the Mahakumbh. Accompanied by his mother, wife Geeta Dhami, and son, CM Dhami visited the Uttarakhand pavilion yesterday and took a holy dip in Sangam with his family today.
On this occasion, he took to Facebook to express his sentiments on having the good fortune of bathing his mother in the holy Mahakumbh. The world’s largest religious, spiritual, and cultural event, the ‘Mahakumbh 2025,’ is currently ongoing in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and will continue until 26th February.

CM and family visit Uttarakhand pavilion
Yesterday, on Sunday, the Chief Minister and his family visited the ‘Uttarakhand Mandapam,’ a facility built in Sector 7 of Prayagraj to accommodate and support devotees from Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The family took part in the Bhajan Sandhya, an evening of devotional songs, before participating in the ‘Gyan Mahakumbh,’ an intellectual and spiritual discourse session.

Expressing his reverence, CM Dhami stated, “Today, along with my family, I reached the Uttarakhand Mandapam built in Prayagraj, the confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, a strong symbol of Sanatan Dharma and our rich cultural heritage.” He highlighted the Uttarakhand Mandapam as a crucial facility for devotees, with thousands arriving daily.

As part of his spiritual journey, he took a holy dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam today, joining countless other devotees in the Maha Kumbh bath. Reflecting on his experience, CM Dhami shared on Facebook, “I had the great fortune of taking a dip with my family in the most sacred and holy Triveni Sangam of Mother Ganga, Mother Yamuna, and Mother Saraswati during the divine Maha Kumbh-2025.
