Dehradun: On the second day of rescue operations for the trapped workers under the snow at Chamoli’s Mana village, 14 more workers have been rescued, and six of them have been sent to the ITBP Military Hospital in Jyotirmath.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi has called Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to inquire about the rescue operations and the well-being of the workers. In addition, two Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopters have reached the Jyotirmath helipad to aid in the rescue operations.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is about to reach Jyotirmath to assess the situation in Chamoli’s Mana. He has already stated that saving the lives of the workers is the first priority of his government. District Magistrate Chamoli, Sandeep Dixit, informed the media that ITBP, BRO, and Army teams are carrying out the operation, and ten more people have been rescued today. Three critically injured workers have been admitted to the Jyotirmath Army Hospital.
