New Delhi: The Big Day is just hours away as millions of American voters will go to the polling stations on Tuesday (November 5) to cast their ballots.
The opening and closing times for voting vary by hours from state to state. Besides, there are 15 states that are split into two time zones. As per CBS News, these states will start declaring election results only after the polls have closed in their regions.
When will polling start in the United States?
The polling will start at 5 am ET in some locations in Vermont on the East Coast, while polling places in all or parts of five other states will open at 6 am ET. In Oregon, there will be no in-person polling stations, as the state carries out voting by mail.

Vermont: Between 5 am and 10 am ET (depending on the town from where the voter is casting their vote)
