The Maruti Suzuki Dzire might just be the most anticipated vehicle of 2024 and it was going to be launched in a few days but it has been spotted without any camouflage right outside the Maruti Manesar plant. Unlike previous Dzire’s, it does not have much resemblance to the Swift that it is based on.
It will most likely have the same chassis and drivetrain options as the Swift but will have a completely new exterior design and would be better loaded with features as well. The Dzire has grown quite handsome honestly and this might just turn the whole sub-4m sedan segment upside down.

The exterior features new LED headlights with multi-beam LEDs, it has a new more mature front grille, and LED foglamps on the lower bumper. The side profile is similar to what it was before but there are new diamond cut alloy wheels on offer. The rear of the vehicle is also completely new and gets new striking looking LED taillights. The interior is very similar to that of the Swift but will have a lighter coloured upholstery.

When it comes to the drivetrain, we can expect the same 1.2L Z-Series engine that we saw in the Swift producing 81 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual or an AMT. There could also be a CNG option right at launch. Maruti might also offer a lot of features and most importantly for Indian customers, a Sunroof option.
Maruti will launch the Dzire right after Diwali and we expect it to be an instant hit. The Dzire will most likely be priced from around Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and be available at the Arena dealerships.
