Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform Ram Lalla’s ‘abhishek’ on the first anniversary of the deity’s pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremony on January 11. A three-day celebration will also begin on the same day, with the CM as chief guest.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will celebrate the first anniversary of the pran pratishtha ceremony on January 11, as per the Hindu calendar. Well-known singer Usha Mangeshkar will also perform on the first day of the event. The legendary singer will also be accompanied by Mayuresh Pai. Apart from them renowned singers like Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Malini Awasthi, will also perform on the occasion.
‘Cultural events will be held across Ayodhya’
“CM Yogi Adityanath will perform ‘abhishek’ of Ram Lalla at 11 am on the first anniversary of the pran pratishtha ceremony of the deity on January 11,” the Trust said. It added, “Cultural events will be held across Ayodhya at important areas like Janmabhoomi Path, Lata Chowk, Ram Ki Paidi, Shringar Haat, Sugriva Fort, and Chhoti Devkali. Artists will perform across the city.”
Commoners will be able to attend: Temple Trust
The temple trust had earlier said that commoners would be able to attend the three-day event at Angad Tilla this time. In addition to them, 110 VVIPs will also be invited to the occasion. “Last year, common people could not attend the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. Therefore, this year, the Trust has decided to invite them on the first anniversary of the pran pratishtha. Common people will be able to attend events at Angad Tila on all three days. ”
