Prayagraj: Yogi Adityanath government’s cabinet meeting will be held on Wednesday (January 22), at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. All 54 ministers of Yogi government have been invited to attend this meeting.
During the session, schemes and proposals aimed at bringing several benefits to the state are expected to be approved. Following the meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with the entire cabinet, will take a holy dip in the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam.
Meeting to take place at Triveni Complex
In 2019 Kumbh Mela, Yogi Adityanath had also taken a dip in Sangam with his entire cabinet. At that time, Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri and other saints had also joined the ritual.
The meeting will commence at 12 noon in Triveni Complex of Arail. This location has been chosen to ensure that devotees coming to bathe at the Sangam are not inconvenienced.
Initially, the meeting was planned to be held in the auditorium of the Mela Authority. However, considering all aspects, the venue was later shifted to the Triveni Complex. If the meeting had been held in the auditorium of the Mela Authority, VIP security arrangements might have disrupted the experience of the devotees.
After the meeting, all the ministers will travel to Sangam from Arail VIP Ghat via motorboat. Upon reaching Sangam, Yogi Adityanath and other ministers will perform ritualistic worship and then take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, using the specially constructed jetty on the Sangam bank.
These ministers will attend meeting
According to reports, Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, as well as cabinet ministers Suresh Kumar Khanna, Surya Pratap Shahi and Swatantradev Singh, will be present.
In addition, 21 ministers, including Baby Rani Maurya, Jaiveer Singh, Laxmi Narayan Choudhary, Dharampal, Nand Gopal Nandi, and Anil Rajbhar, along with the rest of the 54 ministers – those with independent charges and ministers of state – will also participate in the ritualistic bathing at Sangam following the cabinet meeting.
