Hyderabad: Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his gifts to the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Vinayaka Navratri in the form of two new Vande Bharat Express trains that will be flagged off on September 16.
PM Modi will flag off as many as 10 Vande Bharat Express during a grand event in Ahmedabad on September 16. Two of these trains will be for routes in Telangana. The newest addition will put the southern state with the maximum number of running Vande Bharat trains after the national capital.
Reddy has been invited to attend the reception of the Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 10 Vande Bharat Express trains on September 15. Among the new routes, the Nagpur-Secunderabad and Pune-Nagpur trains will begin operations. This initiative is focused on significantly improving connectivity in these neighbouring states.
The Nagpur-Seunderabad Vande Bharat will have its stops at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Balharshah, Chandrapur, and Sevagram stations. While the train from Durg to Visakhapatnam will have stoppages at Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada, Vizianagaram stations.
Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express schedule, timings and more
The Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Secunderabad will operate daily except on Tuesdays. The journey will take approximately 7 hours and 15 minutes. The train will depart from Nagpur at 5 am, reaching Secunderabad by 12:15 pm. On its return, it will leave Secunderabad at 1 pm and arrive in Nagpur by 8:20 pm.
