Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reviews preparations ahead of Gwalior Industrial Conclave

New Delhi: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia took stock of the arrangements for the upcoming Industrial Conclave to be held in Gwalior on August 28 via video conference from Delhi. In the meeting, held at the Gwalior Collectorate, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia briefed all the officials on the progress. The Union Minister and the Chief Minister provided suggestions and made decisions on modifications regarding the ongoing preparations by the administration.

Scindia had written a letter

Following the Industrial Conclave held in Indore, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia wrote a letter to the Chief Minister requesting that a similar conclave be held in Gwalior. The Union Minister is making efforts to increase trade and establish large companies and factories in the Gwalior-Chambal division.

Gwalior could become a magnet city

After the Gwalior-Agra Expressway project was approved by the Cabinet, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced in a press conference his plan to make Gwalior a magnet city for Delhi. He is working towards attracting and establishing major companies. Through the efforts of the Union Minister, approval has also been obtained to open a Center of Excellence by Ashwini Vaishnaw’s IT Ministry. According to sources, there could be announcements of factories and investments by major companies in the Gwalior-Chambal division during the upcoming Gwalior Industrial Conclave.

Gwalior Industrial Conclave

The Gwalior Regional Industrial Conference will be held on August 28 in the auditorium of Agriculture University under the chairmanship of the CM Mohan Yadav, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister in charge Tulsiram Silawat, Industry Minister Chaitanya Kashyap along with regional MPs, MLAs, senior officials of Madhya Pradesh government, prominent industrialists, special invited guests, foreign delegations and local industrialists will be present in this conference. About 4000 guests will participate in the conference.
