New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has made the announcement of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). Candidates who have qualified the exam will get the UGC NET 2024 June session e-certificate at ecertificate.nta.ac.in.
Those who have their UGC NET e-certificate 2024 can apply to Indian universities and colleges for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) can pursue their research on the chosen topic.
Steps to download UGC NET e-certificate?
- Step 1: First go to – ecertificate.nta.ac.in
- Step 2: Then select the name of the exam and captcha code and click on ‘Proceed’.
- Step 3: Fill in the necessary details such as roll number or application number, date of birth, exam year, exam session and security key.
- Step 4: Submit the entered details.
- Step 5: Once done, the UGC NET e-certificate will appear on the screen.
- Step 6: Check and download the certificate.
- Step 7: Take the printout of it.
If a candidate loses the original NET certificate, he or she can apply for a duplicate one. To apply, candidates will need to submit the printout of the application form, UGC NET roll number, self-attested copy of the First Information Report (FIR) concerning the loss, a demand draft of Rs 100 drawn on behalf of ‘Secretary, Committee on University Grants’ and contact details (mobile number and email ID).
UGC NET certificate validity
For assistant professor and lectureship, the UGC NET certificate is valid for a lifetime. However, for JRF, the NET certificate is valid for four years from the date of issue.
The UGC NET e-certificate is a digital document issued by NTA to candidates who qualify for the NET exam. the certificate serves as proof of eligibility to apply for posts like assistant professor and JRF in Indian universities and colleges.
