Telangana Group-1 job aspirants continued their protest for a second consecutive day at Gandhi Nagar Park in Ashok Nagar, demanding the state government to reschedule of the exam conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).
The students cited the short-time window for preparation and GO-29 issued in February 2024, which tweaked reservation policy for hiring officers as reasons to postpone the exam.
Taking to social media platform X, one of the aspirants said that there is a serious issue with GO-29 and will have far reaching consequences. Over 14 cases are pending in High Court. “We are not ready to re-write mains exam. We are requesting rescheduling because of court cases. We wrote prelims three times already.”
