The commission has introduced strict security measures, including biometric attendance, to ensure fairness in the exam process this year. In a total of 46 centres spread across three districts- Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri, the exam is being conducted.

Overall, the exam went smoothly, with no major difficulty. The question on history was a bit tough. The paper evaluated the candidate’s knowledge in diverse topics such as history, economy, polity, philosophy, science and technology and climate change.
Delays and cancellations of the Group 1 exam
The Telangana Group 1 exam was delayed several times over the years. Although the previous government issued a notification for the exam in the year 2022, the exam was cancelled twice. The cancellation occurred because of several reasons which included question paper leak and procedural issues.
