New Delhi: Three men reportedly entered the Ram temple premises in Gulana, Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh, and offered namaz, causing an uproar in the village. The three men, identified as brothers Babu Khan, Rustam Khan, and Akbar Khan, allegedly forced their way into the temple around 5 pm, washed their feet using water from a temple pot and began praying. The temple priest said that he tried to stop the trio but they continued with their prayers.
Following the incident, the priest lodged a complaint at the local police station. The police have registered a case against the brothers on charges of hurting religious sentiments. Janak Singh Rawat, the officer in charge, confirmed that the case is under investigation.
News of the incident spread quickly, prompting strong reactions from the villagers, who expressed shock and anger over the prayers being offered in the temple premises. Preliminary police findings suggest the possibility that the brothers intended to provoke religious sentiments with this act. The investigation into the motive and circumstances behind the incident remains ongoing.

Makwana, who visited the shrine on the International Day of Yoga, has since apologised, saying she never intended any offence.
The SGPC, which suspended three of its employees for negligence, said the need to respect Sikh customs. SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami said that people should honour the sanctity of the site and said the police have been asked to take appropriate action.
