New Delhi: The government has constructed a huge network of highways and expressways across the country to facilitate the smooth travel at high speeds. However, this speed is also becoming the cause of several accidents on the highways.
In a fresh incident, a SUV met with accident and rolled over multiple times on Purvanchal Expressway after tyre a burst. 7 people people were injured including 3 critically in the incident. The incident happened when the car was moving on Lucknow to Ghazipur lane on the Purvanchal Expressway on February.
Accident video goes viral
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The video shows the SUV rolled like a football on the expressway. The injured persons have been admitted to Kasimabad Community Health Center in Ghazipur. The critically injured passengers were referred to Mau district hospital for further treatment.
In the video, the Scorpio could be seen speeding on the expressway before it flips over at least 7-8 times and then collided with the divider. The video shows the intensity of the terrifying the accident. Miraculously, all seven passengers survived with injuries.
Vehicle traveling from Delhi to Begusarai
The vehicle in question was traveling from Delhi to Begusarai in Bihar. The SUV travelled smoothly till it reached the Purvanchal Expressway. Suddenly, the front tyre of the SUV got burst causing the driver to lose control. The SUV overturned after taking multiple turns and hit the divider.
After the accident, expressway security personnel and the Kasimabad Kotwali police officials rushed to the spot and took the injured people to a nearby health center. Three of the critically injured persons were referred to Mau hospital for higher treatment. All the injured are reported to be out of danger.
