Indian cricketers have had a great taste in cars. Be it Dhoni with his cool collection or Virat Kohli with his supercars and barge of luxury vehicles, but some cricketers like to keep things subtle. Suresh Raina has recently taken delivery of the newly launched Kia Carnival. Now we would not call it subtle because it is priced at a massive Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) but it is an understated vehicle in the grand scheme of things.
The car was delivered to him recently and is finished in Glacier White Pearl. Well, the new Carnival is only offered only in two colours, the other one being Fusion Black. There are not many options to choose from either as we get a fully loaded Limousine variant in the Indian market. The Carnival has become nearly double the price of the previous generation Carnival due to new feature additions.

The Carnival is a loaded to the gills with features. It gets lounge like seats in the second row, ADAS, dual sunroofs, ventilated seats even in the second row, LED lights, a powered tailgate, seat heating, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 12-speaker Bose Audio system.
Power comes from a 2.2L diesel engine which is now an aluminum block and produces 193 bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It is paired to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission which sends all its power to the front wheels. The Carnival will be added to the garage of Suresh Raina with other vehicles like a Ford Mustang, Mercedes Benz GLE, Audi Q7 and a Porsche Boxter. The Carnival might not match the performance of any of those but luxury minivans are taking off in Indian and there is seriously no replacement.
