Mumbai: With Mahayuti returning to power in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Saturday said that the Ladli Bahin Yojna of the state government proved to be the game changer for the alliance.
“The Ladli Bahin Yojna of the state government is the game changer of Mahayuti in the state Assembly elections. The people of Maharashtra voted back Mahayuti to power as they the development work that the government was doing for the state.,” Pawar said at the press conference that was also attended by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and another Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
People have rejected politics of hate and revenge: Eknath Shinde
Addressing the media, Shinde pointed out that the people of the state have rejected the politics of hate and revenge of the Opposition parties, and accepted the politics of development and welfare. “This is a historic day. People gave a landslide victory to Mahayuti,” he added.
The CM further said, “We succeeded in striking a balance between development and welfare measures. This election has decided to whom Shiv Sena and NCP belong, say Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar at Mahayuti press conference.”
