PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man 2 is officially confirmed to hit your PCs soon! In a blog post, PlayStation confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, one of the biggest hit of PS5 games, will be available for PC users starting January 30, 2025. You will be able to get it via Steam and the Epic Store. The best part is that you can wishlist it now.
Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes said while announcing the expansion of Spider-Man 2, “Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC together with Insomniac and Marvel Games has been a great experience for us at Nixxes.”
Marvel further revealed that the two editions of the Spider-Man 2 will be available for PCs: Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.
Spider-Man 2 On PCs: Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition
If you are wondering how these editions of Spider-Man 2 will differ, then know that the Standard Edition will include the complete game along with all the latest updates of the Spider-Man 2 that it got on PS5, such as 14 new suits, new game+, ultimate levels, Symbiote suit styles, time of day options, post-game achievements, Action Figure Mode, Screen reader and audio descriptions.
On the other hand, the Digital Deluxe Edition will have all the mentioned updates. However, it will be having exclusive suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Plus, early unlocks for the Arachknight Suit (Peter), Shadow-Spider Suit (Miles), and the Web Grabber gadget.
However, PlayStation and Marvel have confirmed too that there is no additional story content planned for Spider-Man 2. Instead, the post-launch content, including New Game+, new suits and colour variants, Photo Mode features, and others will be available on the PC version.
On the other hand, PS5 players can be excited to know that Marvel’s charity collaboration with Gameheads, Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack will be available for you in October 2024 and PC users with launch in January 2025.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Requirement
While Marvel hasn’t officially announced the PC requirement for the upcoming Spider-Man 2, but as per a report by PCGameBenchmark, you will need a minimum of 16GB memory, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card or better, Intel Core i5-12600K or above. However, you should wait for the official details.
