Spider-Man 4 release date
Spider-Man 4 will be released in theatres on July 24, 2026, shortly after Avengers: Doomsday’s release on May 1, 2026. Interestingly, Spider-Man: Far From Home, the previous installment in the Spider-Man franchise, was released two months before Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. Spider-Man: Far From Home turned out to be the biggest grosser of the year and collected over $1 billion globally.
Confirming the fourth spidey movie, Holland said on the Jimmy Fallon show, “It’s happening. Next summer, we start shooting, and everything’s good to go. We’re nearly there. Super exciting. Yeah, I can’t wait.”
Meanwhile, the production work on the film will begin by mid-2025. Talking about the fourth installment, Holland said on the Rich Poll podcast that he had read the draft of the script, adding that “it needs work” and writers are doing a “great job”.
Talking about the challenges that the makers are facing currently, Holland pointed out that Marvel films are a small cog in a large machine and the machine has got to keep running. He further added that the makers have to make sure to fit into the timeline at the right time to “benefit the bigger picture” and that’s one of the challenges that the team is facing. He also added, “The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the people we have working on it now.”
However, it is still uncertain if Zendeya will return to Spider-Man as MJ.
