The Fabia has become a mundane hatchback and there is no hotter version like the previous VRS available to buy now even though rally cars are based on top of it. Skoda has now revealed the Fabia Rally2 by Cohete Suarez which will be limited to just 100 units and is only for Spain.
The vehicle has been created to honor Jose Antonio whoc was a Austrian rally driver who won the Spanish Rally Super Championship in 2021 and 2023. The car gets a few cosmetic upgrades and a lot more power than the standard car and has been tuned by ABT.
The vehicle sports a Mamba green paintjob which is found on the RS models and it is similar to what is put on the real rally car driven by Jose Antonio Suarez and Alberto Iglesias. It gets ABT emblems, Rally2 emblems, a rear spoiler, and Rally2 graphics as well. It sits 15mm lower than the standard car and features 17-inch OZ Racing Superturismo WRC wheels which are wrapped up in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres.
Lets come to the engine now. It gets a ABT Sportline kit. It features the same 1.5L TSI EVOII engine that we get in the Kushaq in India and in stock form it produces 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The ABT treatment gives it 188 bhp and 290 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Other details include black upholstery on the inside, sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, Rally2 emblems on the inside an a plaque with the number and signature of the racing driver.
The Fabia Rally2 will only be limited to just 100 units only for the Spanish market and be priced from €30,900 (around Rs 28.11 lakh). Deliveries will take place in March of 2025.
