On a question from Gandhi about the involvement of ‘external forces’ in Bangladesh, the External Affairs minister replied that it would be too early to say something about this and that India was keeping a close eye on the situation there.
The neighbouring country has plunged into uncertainty after extraordinary street protest over job quota forced Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to quit and flee. She arrived in India on her way to London, diplomatic sources said.
