New Delhi: Young Indian batter Shubman Gill caught the attention of Bollywood actresses in a promotional video of Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives season 3 show. In a episode of a recent show of the Indian reality series, few actresses were engaged in a discussion over the emerging Indian star.
The conversation started with actress Bhavana Pandey mentioning that there will be cricketers coming to a certain event. After a few guesses, actress Neelam Kothari enquired about ‘Shubham’ (mispronunciation of Shubman Gill). Responding to this, Bhavana said that ‘Shubham is one quarter of your age’.
Bhavana later pointed out to Neelam that she got the player’s name wrong, though the fashion entreprenuer-cum actor also got the name wrong with the guess of ‘Shubnam’. This led to many funny guesses including Shabnam, Shubham and Shubnam before one of them got it correct. The conversation ended with one of the actor calling the cricketer as ‘cute’.

Will Shubman Gill play for India in 2nd Test vs NZ?
Indian batter Shubman Gill is currently part of the 16-member India squad for the ongoing three-match Test series against New Zealand on home soil. The Punjab-born player missed the first Test in Bengaluru due to neck stiffness. He was replace by Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan, leading to a mini shuffle in the batting order with senior man Virat Kohli being promoted at No.3.
Following India’s defeat in the first Test by eight wickets, captain Rohit Sharma said that Shubman seems ok at that point and the team management will take call on his availability before the second Test. The youngster was seen doing batting practice in the centre of the wicket against reserved bowlers Prasidh Krishna and Mayank Yadav right after the Bengaluru Test on Sunday (October 20).
