New Delhi: Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is enjoying his time off the field. The legendary opener entertained the fans with brilliant hitting for over a decade. Apart from his batting, Dhawan is also known for posting funny videos on social media.
He recently engaged in a viral social media trend and shared a video on Instagram where he was seen imitating “Pankhe wale Baba”. The viral trend started when a man was captured stopping a rotating fan with his hands while sitting on the shoulders of other people. The former India opener recreated the same scene with his friends and the video went viral on social media.
In the video, Dhawan was seen seated on a plastic chair when three people lifted him by their hands. As soon as Dhawan reaches up to touch a fan, he humorously spread his fingers in an attempt to stop the moving fan.
He captioned the Instagram post “Pankhe wale Baba ki Jai ho”. The video created a lot of buzz and crossed more than 57.4 million views on Instagram.

Shikhar Dhawan announced retirement from international cricket
The former India cricketer officially announced his decision to retire after a brilliant 12-year international career. He made his debut for India in 2010 and played 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20Is, scoring 10,867 runs.
He announced his retirement from cricket via an emotional video message in August “As I close this chapter of my cricketing journey, I carry with me countless memories and gratitude. Thank you for your love and support! Jai Hind! I am at a point when I look back and only see good memories and a new world when I look ahead” Dhawan said.
