New Delhi: Security at actor Allu Arjun’s house has been stepped up ahead of his questioning by the Hyderabad police on Tuesday as part of the ongoing probe into the stampede during the screening of his latest film ‘Pushpa-2: The Rule’.
On Monday, a Hyderabad court granted bail to six persons who were arrested for allegedly vandalising his residence a day back. The vandalism took place amid a mounting controversy about the actor’s culpability in the death of a fan during the stampede at the premiere of Pushpa-2. A political slugfest took place after the vandalism with the BJP joining the BRS in slamming the Congress government.
Allu Arjun was called for questioning to the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad. Earlier, the actor said he would cooperate with the investigation.
