New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that the Modi government has achieved a major milestone in making India safe by strengthening the country’s external and internal security system. He made the remarks while addressing a press conference to mark the 100 days of the third tenure of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Highlighting the achievements of the NDA government, Shah said that there has been political stability in the country for the first time in the last 60 years. He said that the BJP came to power in the country for the historic term as the Modi government dedicated 10 years to development ‘tirelessly’.

Lauding Modi government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, he said, “When ‘Make in India’ initiative was announced, several people made fun of it. But today, I can say this with immense pride that India has become a favourite manufacturing hub in the world. Several countries want to understand and implement our ‘Digital India’ scheme.”
“Modi Ji, who was born in a poor family in a small village and became the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy. He has been honoured by 15 different nations that gave him their highest awards,” he added.
Shah, along with I&B Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, also released a special booklet on achievements of first 100 days of the government during PM Modi’s third term.
