Riyadh: In a first in the country of Saudi Arabia, a couple got married in a unique underwater wedding in the Red Sea. Hassan Abu Al-Ola and Yasmine Daftardar took a detour from the traditional wedding route to add some adventure to their big day. The video of the couple exchanging rings underwater is going viral on social media platforms.
The wedding of the couple, who are avid divers, was organised by a local diving group called Saudi Divers, led by Captain Faisal Flemban. Fellow divers of the group witnessed the extraordinary wedding. The team of divers also provided all the necessary arrangements required for the intimate event. Following the event, the couple spoke of their experience to Gulf News.

“It was indeed a surprise. After we geared up, Captain Faisal and the team told us they had planned to celebrate our wedding right there under the sea. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience,” said Abu Al-Ola. He also added that they did not face any challenges during their unconventional ceremony. He also claimed that everyone was mesmerized by how spectacular and unique the event was.
