Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A36 5G has been leaked ahead of its expected release on the website Geekbench. The Galaxy A35 5G, which debuted in India earlier this year, will be replaced by this new version. The listing shows the RAM, chipset and operating system of the Galaxy A36 5G, among other specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is listed on Geekbench with the model number SM-A366B. According to reports, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core ARM-based processor, which has four efficiency cores operating at 1.80GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz. The Galaxy A36 5G is tipped to be powered by either Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipsets. However, the rest fo the specifications of the chipset have not been confirmed yet. The phone is also expected to have an Adreno 710 GPU and 6GB of RAM, which is 5.20GB according to Geekbench.
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Benchmark Results
The Galaxy A36 5G shows cross-platform benchmarking for Android AArch64 conducted by Geekbench 6.2.2, scoring 1,060 in the single-core test and 3,070 in the multi-core test, the report suggested. In comparison to its predecessor, the Galaxy A35 5G, which scored around 1,013 and 2,805 points in the identical tests, respectively. The improved performance raises the possibility that the Galaxy A36 5G will provide users with a more responsive and smooth experience.
Launched earlier this year, the Galaxy A35 5G has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 1,000 nits. It has 8GB of RAM and it is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor. Along with a 13MP front camera for selfies, it has a triple rear camera arrangement at the back that includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 5MP macro shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
