New Delhi: Veteran filmmaker and father of Salman Khan, Salim Khan, believes that his son shouldn’t apologise to the Bishnoi gang as he hasn’t killed any animal. He also believes that there is no connection between Baba Siddique’s death and Salman Khan. The Tiger 3 actor received a fresh death threat from notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang, demanding Rs 5 crore to end the enmity.
Over the past few years, Salman Khan has been receiving death threats but the danger over the actor intensified when gunshots were fired at his Mumbai home, Galaxy Apartments. It got even more intense and serious after NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai’s Bandra. Now, Salim Khan broke his silence over the matter.
Salim Khan says Salman shouldn’t apologise
In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan said that apologising to the Bishnoi gang would mean admitting that Salman Khan killed Blackbuck. He further added that the actor hasn’t killed any animal, ” adding, “Humne kabhi kisi cockroach ko bhi nahi maara. Hum in cheezo mein believe hi nai karte.”
He further went on to defend his son by saying that he had not committed any crime. The veteran filmmaker also revealed that Salman told him he wasn’t even present at the time of Blackbuck’s killing. Defending Salman, he added, “usko nahi shauk jaanwar maarne ka wo jaanwaro sey mohabbat karta hai.”
Salim on Salman’s connection with Baba Siddique death
In another interview with PTI, Salim Khan dismissed any connection between Salman Khan and Baba Siddique’s death. He said that he doesn’t think that there is any connection between the two. He was quoted as saying, “Baba Siddique ka isse kya taluk hoga? Kisi bhi cheez ka bana dijiye. Aapne humko salaam nahi kiya, ab hum aapko maar denge. Aapne humko namaste nahi kiya, hum maar denge.”
